1 April 2023 Consumer Price Index (CPI) Notice
On 1 April each year OneMusic’s GST exclusive rates are increased by the percentage increase in the CPI between the last two June Quarter’s under the Licence Agreement terms.
The increase in the CPI between the last two June Quarters was 7.3%.
At OneMusic we are aware of the challenges businesses face. You may recall that earlier in the year the CPI for the 1 October licenses saw an increase between the last two March Quarter’s of 6.9%.
To support businesses as well as our music creators we’ve continued our one-off decision to discount part of the increase that would otherwise apply for the year commencing 1 October 2022 licences below.
(with OneMusic discounting the remaining 3.4%).
This discount on the increase under the Licence Agreement terms is being implemented only in respect of the licence year commencing 1 April 2023.
